ALPHA BRIGGS MEDITERRANEAN LIMITED, operates in Malta through a new base situated between the Malta Freeport Terminal at Marsaxlokk Port and the Port of Valletta, and within 15 minutes drive time from either port..
The building is newly refurbished and its layout has been designed to provide the flexibility of operations required to provide fast mobilisation of resources.
The base is fully equipped in excess of Tier 2 level requirements, including two offshore systems and a total recovery capacity exceeding 200 mt per hour. A large stockpile of sorbents is also held. ALPHA BRIGGS has the backup of Malta Government resources and stockpiles through a co-operation agreement signed in early 2006 with the Oil Pollution Response Module (OPRM).
Apart from a 24 x 7 operational standby service, the base provides the following services:
• Asset procurement and commissioning
• Equipment maintenance
• Equipment hire
• Sorbent sales and after care
• Suitable storage and logistics when dispersant is used
